Gladys Heppleworth

British author Gladys Heppleworth (1889-1934) became a writer comparatively late in her life and first succeeded as the author of short stories for several London newspapers. Soon Gladys turned to writing plays and detective stories. Several adaptations of some of her works, among them "Deadly Heritage" and "Cold-blooded", were staged in London’s West End around 1925.
